A Series-B-stage scale-up brief usually ends up being Strategy + Marketing + Market Research, with a handoff to GIVE Analytics for the underlying financial model. An SME operations review usually crosses into People and Marketing before it is done. The point of working across the six lines is that the joins between them happen inside a single engagement plan, not between two firms.
What we turn down
We are not for every brief, and saying so is part of the discipline. We turn down work where the answer is obvious and the buyer needs an execution partner rather than an adviser. We turn down regulated legal advice (we triage and refer). We turn down anything we don't have the relevant background for. And we turn down briefs where the right answer is one the client has already told us they will not accept.
